Dr Lindani Sibanda is the Acting Chief Medical Officer at Ekuphileni Clinic. A General Practitioner, Dr Lindani Sibanda holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degrees (MBChB) from the University of Zambia. He is further a Member of College of Surgery (COSECSA) and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME). His passion for Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma makes him a natural for the care and rehabilitation of patients.
Overseeing a qualified team of over 8 health care workers, Dr Lindani Sibanda is deeply committed to a happier and better outcome for the Clinic patients. Stories of patients walking out on their own after months of the healing process is what gets him up in the morning. Dr Adman Shabangu is the Chief Medical officer at Ekuphileni clinic. A general practitioner, Dr Shabangu holds a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB) from the University of Limpopo, Senior Management Development Certificate from the University Stellenbosch Business School as well as an MBA from Harriot-Watt University.
Dr Shabangu is passionate about helping people, leading with dignity and changing the health institutions in the kingdom. This former nurse, whose dedication in internal medicine is seeing people who do not know their diagnosis, getting the right treatment and return to be fruitful citizens, is proud of rising from being a nurse to a medical doctor and further assume leadership roles within the health care sector. Dr Shabangu is proud of leading Ekuphileni clinic and is positive that with his competent team a better outcome is ensured.

Dr Jere has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Eswatini over 25 years. Prior to 1995 he worked at Gloucester Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital in the United Kingdom where he obtained his post graduate qualifications. Dr Jere obtained his earlier undergraduate medical degree at University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia.
His experience in Swaziland dates back to 1995 when he first took up a post as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mbabane Government Hospital. He later joined the Clinic Group where he has been consulting as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Dr Jere has worked with the Sincephetelo MVA Fund for over 20 years. From treating patients with musculo-skeletal injuries, performing their medico-legal interviews and preparing appropriate medico-legal reports, Dr Jere gets up each day looking forward to making a positive impact on his patients’ health and well.

Dr. Phila Mpanza is a distinguished Neurosurgeon Specialist practicing within Southern African region. One of the few black practicing Neurosurgeons, Dr Mpanza qualified from the University of Limpopo (MBcHB) and is a College of Medicine Fellow of the South African College of Neurosurgeon.
Coming from a challenging background made Mpanza determined to be the best he can be in his chosen field. He continues to excel and is currently undertaking a sub-specialty in Neuro-Endovascular Medicine. Mpanza is dedicated to maintaining high ethical standards and professional conduct in the care of his patients.
Mpanza believes he has a calling from God which drives him to do more every day. Preservation of his patient’s dignity is at the core of his beliefs and he works hard to make a positive difference in his patients’ lives.
MBBcH | FC Neurosurg. SA
Dr Mpumelelo Shongwe is a qualified Neurosurgeon who holds a Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBcH) qualifications from the Wits University. He is also a fellow of the college of Neurosurgeons of South Africa (FC Neurosurg. SA) — WITS, where he has lectured medical students too. He is most proud to have been given an opportunity to impart his knowledge to aspiring neurosurgeons.
Dr Shongwe gained his experience in Neurosurgery in South Africa, where he rotated between Baragwanath hospital (CHBAH), Joburg Gen (CMJAH), Helen Joseph and Klerksdorp (North West). He has been exposed to high patient volumes due to the large population of Gauteng.
Prior to being a Neurosurgeon, he has worked as a general practitioner including maternal care (normal delivery and caesarean section) in Eswatini. Dr Shongwe is passionate about Neuro Science, and his love for this field started off early in his career when he saw great patient outcomes which resulted from early neurosurgical interventions. That coupled with the fact that there are not many neurosurgeons in the country further sparked his interest in the field.
His special interests in the field includes Neuro-oncology (which looks into tumours of the brain including pituitary and spine), Neuro-spine (which attends to spinal surgery for trauma, degenerative, tumours, infections etc.), Paediatric Neurosurgery (which talks to Hydrocephalus, Spinal dysraphism, tumours, seizures etc.), as well as Neuro-trauma (which attends to traumatic brain injury, Spinal injury).
This doctor who has also completed multiple cadaveric courses, was part of the presenting panel at the 2021 International spine congress in Cape Town, this was an exclusive conference which amalgamated world-recognized professionals in the field of spine healthcare and spine specialists. Dr Shongwe is excited at the opportunity to assist Emaswati and people living in Eswatini with Neuro interventions.
Gomolemo Shabangu is an experienced occupational therapist with just over 15 years in the sector. Working towards her Masters in Occupational Therapy with the University of Cape Town, Shabangu holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from MEDUNSA.
Dedicated to her patients healing, Shabangu has developed community programs for patients and caregivers and has worked with psychological support team programs in communities. As a disability assessor she has years of experience working with leading corporate organisations’ including Sincephetelo MVA Fund. Assessing patients as well as evaluating their environments (home, work, and school), in order to make relevant recommendations that allow the client to function independently within the limits of their disability.
Shabangu has worked for the National TB Hospital attending to in & out patients as well as MSF (Doctors without borders), and various schools around the country. She has also shared her experience with the national disability unit on their outreach programmes. She looks forward to sharing her skills and experience with patients of Ekuphileni Clinic.
Zanele Dlamini is a proficient Clinical Psychologist with a five year career in psychology. Holding a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, she has cultivated her skills since she began as a psychology tutor at the same University and now as a partner in a thriving female led consultancy. Dlamini has accumulated experience in psychopathology diagnosis, medium and long-term psychotherapeutic interventions, designing and implementing community interventions and conducting medico-legal assessments.
Passionate about mental health, she believes in the greater importance of prioritising mental healthcare through preventative and curative interventions. As such, Dlamini not only works with individuals and groups with various disorders but further works hard to sensitise people about the significance of mental healthcare. She looks forward to imparting her impressive body of knowledge about mental health.
Dr. Manyane started her medical education at Witwatersrand and concluded her internship at Dr George Mukhari Hospital. She did community service at ODI Hospital and further specialist training in Neurology at the University of Limpopo, before completing a fellowship of college of neurologist in 2010.
Dr. Manyane is a seasoned specialist; examining and managing neurological diseases and attending to acute neurological emergencies. She is well accomplished in the Department of Neurology and has lectured in neurology for over 10 years teaching both undergraduates and post graduates.
Her other accomplishments include being an examiner of undergraduate medical student, an examiner of undergraduate Allied health students, she is a member of the Neurology Association of South Africa (NASA), she is also a member of the HPCSA Road Accident Fund Appeal Tribunal.
Her work with the Road Accident Fund has gained her vast knowledge and experience in Medical Incapacity Assessments.
